Riley Exploration Group is currently focused on exploration and development of various geologic formations across the Texas Gulf Coast, Permian Basin and Mid-Continent.
These projects include unconventional reservoirs in the Eagle Ford and Woodford. Our conventional reservoirs consist of the Upper Cretaceous Taylor Formation and moderate-permeability oil-bearing dolomites of the San Andres Formation which are best developed using horizontal drilling and multi-stage hydraulic fracture stimulation.
Riley also has production and development projects in classic conventional reservoirs including the Hunton Limestone and Atoka Sands of the Arkoma Basin and the Wilcox and Frio Sands of the Texas Gulf Coast. These reservoirs are currently being produced through vertical wells.
